Guthrie Hospice Volunteers Needed
Are you a caring and compassionate person? Do you have time to share with others? Become a Guthrie Hospice volunteer! Guthrie Hospice provides physical, emotional, spiritual and social support to individuals with a terminal diagnosis, helping people live their lives to the fullest.
We are seeking compassionate volunteers to work with patients, families and caregivers to meet the needs of the patient and improve their quality of life.
Volunteer duties include:
- Visiting with patients in their homes
- Reading or other activities the patient enjoys
- Light housekeeping
- Meal prep
- Respite/caregiver relief
Additional information:
- Applicants must be at least 16 years of age (parental consent required) and have a valid driver’s license
- Daytime and evening hours available
